भारतरत्न डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या महापरिनिर्वाण दिनानिमित्त डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर चौक, नंदुरबार येथे आयोजित रक्तदान शिबिरा आज दिनांक 6 डिसेंबर 2023 रोजी भारतरत्न डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या महापरिनिर्वाण दिनानिमित्त डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर चौक, नंदुरबार येथे आयोजित रक्तदान शिबिरामध्ये एकूण 48 ब्लड बॅग संकलित करण्यात आल्या. शिबिराचे उद्घाटन शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय नंदुरबार चे अधिष्ठाता डॉ अरुण हुमणे यांनी केले. सदर शिबिराचे आयोजन शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय नंदुरबार येथील रक्तपेढी मार्फत करण्यात आले होते.

जागतिक एडस् दिनाच्या निमित्ताने शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय नंदुरबार, जिल्हा सामान्य रुग्णालय नंदुरबार, नंदुरबार जिल्ह्यातील विविध नर्सिंग तसेच ईतर महाविद्यालयांचे विद्यार्थी, तसेच एडस् जनजागृती मध्ये कार्यरत विविध संस्था यांचे संयुक्त विद्यमाने जनजागृतीसाठी भव्य रॅली चे आयोजन DAPCU मार्फत करण्यात आले आज दिनांक 1 डिसेंबर २०२३ रोजी जागतिक एडस् दिनाच्या निमित्ताने शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय नंदुरबार, जिल्हा सामान्य रुग्णालय नंदुरबार, नंदुरबार जिल्ह्यातील विविध नर्सिंग तसेच ईतर महाविद्यालयांचे विद्यार्थी, तसेच एडस् जनजागृती मध्ये कार्यरत विविध संस्था यांचे संयुक्त विद्यमाने जनजागृतीसाठी भव्य रॅली चे आयोजन DAPCU मार्फत करण्यात आले होते. त्यात विविध महाविद्यालय, विद्यालये यांचे विद्यार्थ्यांनी उत्स्फूर्त सहभाग घेतला. सदर रॅली नंदुरबार शहरात काढण्यात आली. रॅली ची सुरुवात शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय नंदुरबार चे अधिष्ठाता डॉ अरुण हुमणे आणि जिल्हा शल्य चिकित्सक डॉ नरेश पाडवी यांनी हिरवी झेंडी दाखवून केले. शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय नंदुरबार येथील डॉ अमोल किनगे, डॉ सतिश वड्डे, डॉ संतोष पवार, डॉ सुधाकर बंटेवाड, करण जैन आणि विविध विभागांचे अध्यापक व कर्मचारी सदर रॅली साठी उपस्थित होते. रॅली ला अधिष्ठाता डॉ अरुण हुमणे यांनी "सामाजिक पुढाकार - एडस् चा संहार" या थीम वर संबोधित केले तसेच विद्यार्थ्यांना मार्गदर्शन केले.

Armed Forces Medical College, पुणे, जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालय नंदुरबार, शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय नंदुरबार तसेच जिल्हा रुग्णालय नंदुरबार यांचे संयुक्त विद्यमाने नंदुरबार जिल्ह्यातील संपूर्ण 20 लक्ष जनतेची सिकल सेल चाचणी करण्यात येणार आहे. Armed Forces Medical College, पुणे, जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालय नंदुरबार, शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय नंदुरबार तसेच जिल्हा रुग्णालय नंदुरबार यांचे संयुक्त विद्यमाने नंदुरबार जिल्ह्यातील संपूर्ण 20 लक्ष जनतेची सिकल सेल चाचणी करण्यात येणार आहे. जिल्हा प्रशासनाचे पुढाकाराने साकारलेल्या या संशोधन प्रकल्पात शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयाचे वैद्यकीय विद्यार्थी आणि जिल्हा परिचारिका प्रशिक्षण केंद्र येथील नर्सिंग विभागाच्या विद्यार्थिनी यांचे मार्फत नंदुरबार जिल्ह्यातील लोकांचे रक्ताचे नमुने तथा संबंधित वैयक्तिक माहिती (Data )गोळा करण्याची प्रक्रिया सुरू झाली आहे. ह्या प्रकल्पाद्वारे नंदुरबार जिल्ह्यातील सिकल सेल आजाराची व्याप्ती मोजणे शक्य होणार आहे. तसेच ह्या आजाराची Repository तयार केली जाणार आहे. ज्यामुळे ह्या आजाराच्या निदान, उपचार आणि प्रतिबंधासाठी नियोजन करण्यास मदत होणार आहे. रक्त नमुन्यांची जलद गतीने तपासणी करणेसाठी फ्रान्स देशातून २.५ कोटी रुपयांचे अत्याधुनिक उपकरण आयात केलेले आहे. ह्यात दिवसाला कमाल ७००० नमुने capillary electrophoresis या प्रक्रिये द्वारे चाचणी केली जाणार आहे. पुणे येथिल तज्ञ डॉक्टरांची चमू रक्त तपासणी करत आहे. सदर प्रकल्पामुळे नंदूरबार सारख्या आदिवासीबहुल, अतिदुर्गम डोंगराळ भागात वैद्यकिय संशोधनाला चालना मिळणार असून वैद्यकीय विद्यार्थ्यांना समाजात / गावागावात जाऊन आरोग्याचे विविध पैलूंचे शिक्षण घेणे शक्य होणार आहे.
